During college, I was able to join this company as an intern. JWay Group is a software company based from California, U.S. that focuses on software development for mobile and web solutions. Shortly after working with them during internship, I was offered the position of Web and Mobile Applications Consultant.

My first job experience was truly memorable, and I am grateful for all my managers and colleagues who trained me, and showed me the wonderful life of a developer. I am very lucky to have worked with JWay Group, as they are exemplary in their ways of working. They are very in touch with their developers and clients creating a very synergistic approach to software development.

Their leadership is outstanding as well, starting with the CEO, Joseph Choi, one of the greatest boss I’ve ever encountered. He’s very sophisticated and humble at the same time. He very involved with the team and makes sure that everyone’s ideas and opinions are important and personally motivates individuals in the company to be the best engineers that they can be.

Our COO at the time is Liesel Mendoza, she was like a mother to all of us. She made sure that everyone was taken care of, and that our day to day was running as smooth as possible. She makes it to a point that the company continue to foster it’s culture – the way of JWay.

As a fresh graduate I was able to study new exciting technologies at the time, which was Android development. I was able to create Apps in under a month, which got me really excited. I was able to experience first hand client meetings, and demos, which later on proved to be an essential asset for me.

I just want to say thank you especially to my seniors, Ian Lopez, Allen Jereza, Jerry Paraiso, Donny and Katrina Chong, and to the rest of my colleagues. Truly my experience with JWay Group Inc. is one of my most treasured experience.
